There is much to discover and explore in the new Isle of Armor DLC in Nintendo’s highly popular Pokémon Sword and Shield. For example, as you go through the Wild Area in the Isle during the early stages of your new journey, you will come across a non-playable character with an Alolan Diglett. He will tell you how he adores this new version of the classic Pokémon and managed to catch many more of them. Unfortunately, 150 of them got away and are now present throughout the map. He then requests you to catch them for him.

There are certain things that the trainers must remember while going around and trying to catch these Alolan Diglett in the Isle of Armor. They are spread out all across the map, and their number in a particular area is variable. The smaller regions have about eight Digletts, while the larger ones can have around twenty. They can be clearly visible or hidden among rocks or flowers. You will automatically be informed about the number of Digletts left in the area as you keep catching them.

Our today’s guide will help the trainers to track down each of these Diggletts in the Isle of Armor DLC in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

All Alolan Diglett Locations in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Brawler’s Cave

This is a cave with a number of unique Pokémon inside it. You will find seven Alolan Diglett in here.

Challenge Beach

You will find nine Diglett here, placed comparatively close together. That should make them a little easier to find than in certain other places.

Challenge Road

You will find eight Diglett over here. They are rather difficult to notice because of the colours of the surroundings, which provide significant advantage to camouflage. You will need to be alert, patient and agile enough to dodge the wild Pokémon which will hinder your progress.

Courageous Cavern

This place has seven Diglett. They are lesser in number and fairly easy to spot in contrast to the surroundings, so you should not have much trouble catching them.

Fields of Honor

This, in fact, is the very first area you will find yourself in when you start exploring the Wild Area in the Isle of Armor. It is one of the largest places in the game and has eighteen Diglett distributed all around in it.

Forest of Focus

This area has eight Digletts concealed all around the lush vegetation of the place. They are not relatively hard to spot, but the yellow flowers blossoming all over the foliage does provide some amount of camouflage. Just follow our guide, and you will be able to catch them in no time.

Honeycalm Island

You will find eleven Diglett concealed on this moderate-sized island. They are mostly grouped together, so it should not be too hard to find and catch all of them.

Honeycalm Sea

There are only three Diglett to be found here, and very easy for that matter. Just head on and catch them fast!

Insular Sea

There are only six Diglett in the Insular Sea. It should not take too long to catch all of them.

Loop Lagoon

There are seven Diglett to be found at the Loop Lagoon. Since this place mostly consists of water, they are relatively easy to notice here. And thankfully, they are all placed rather close together. So you should not have too much problem finding and catching them.

Potbottom Desert

There are ten Diglett concealed all across the sands of the Potbottom Desert. Fortunately, this area is not as large as the Soothing Wetlands. And it is also easier to spot the Diglett in the red sand, compared to greenery.

Soothing Wetlands

This is one of the largest areas you will explore, with twenty Diglett scattered about it. Like in the Forest of Focus, it can be rather hard to distinguish them from the lush green vegetation all around. Make sure you go around observing everything meticulously.

Training Lowlands

This is a significantly big area with fifteen Digletts present on it. Be patient and persistent as you go around to find and catch them.

Warm Up Tunnel

There are three Diglett hidden in this little tunnel. It should not take too long to find and catch them.

Workout Sea

This is another large area, consisting almost completely of open water. You will find eleven Diglett concealed on areas of land in between. Going from one of these areas to another is the biggest challenge you will face here.

What are the rewards obtained for catching all the 150 Alolan Diglett?

Well, we are sure you might have felt that all this effort calls for some sort of prize, does it not? Well yes, definitely. You will be rewarded with a Pokémon from the Alolan Region as you reach milestones with this mission. You will first be rewarded for every five Diglett you catch, and after that, for every ten Diglett, you catch. After you manage to catch 50 Diglett, you will be rewarded every time you catch 25 Diglett. After you catch 100 Diglett, you will be rewarded after you have caught all the remaining Diglett.
