HP (Hit Points) ATK (Attack) DEF (Defense) CRIT (Critical Rate) HIT (Hit Rate) EVA (Evasion Rate)

These stats are all important, but some roles may benefit from having one or two more stats higher than the others. This guide will show you a basic rundown of each stat, what aspect of a unit they improve, and which roles will benefit the most from them in general.

HP (Hit Points)

Your unit’s HP shows how much damage they’ll be able to take from enemy attacks before they are incapacitated. Having a high HP stat is crucial for units that are often at your front lines or those who can provoke enemy units to draw their aggro. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high HP stat:

ATK (Attack)

ATK shows how much damage your unit is capable of dishing out against enemies. ATK is the premier stat for DPS units. If you want your units to hit hard, then all you have to do is raise their ATK. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high ATK stat:

DEF (Defense)

DEF determines how much of the damage you take from enemies will be mitigated before it is deducted from your unit’s HP. The higher the DEF of your unit, the more effective they’ll be at soaking up damage for your squad. It is best optimized in tandem with HP. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high DEF stat:

CRIT (Critical Rate)

CRIT is one of the most important stats to prioritize if you want to maximize the DPS output of your units. Having a high CRIT stat allows your units to do critical damage (+50% Damage) more often. For maximum DPS output, your units need a high CRIT stat alongside ATK and HIT. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high CRIT stat:

EVA (Evasion Rate)

Having a high EVA stat allows your units to evade attacks more often, significantly reducing the damage they take. EVA, on paper, is the best all-around stat for survivability. The only problem is that it has a counter stat (HIT), which renders it useless if its value is lower. I only recommend investing in this stat if you have a unit whose whole kit is optimized for evasion. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high EVA stat:

HIT (Hit Rate)

HIT is the counter-stat to EVA, making it another great stat to prioritize for DPS units. Having a high HIT stat allows your units to deal heavy damage even against evasive enemy units. In short, this stat is perfect for DPS units. Here are the roles that will generally benefit the most from having a high HIT stat:
